“Can I wear black to the wedding? Perhaps a black jumpsuit?” various friends asked me of our Fall Mexican wedding fiesta. “Of course!” I answered to any idea (aside for a long white gown).

Making online shopping a sport we’ve searched for the perfect slinky black dresses for the gals who want them, and I’d say this inspiration supplies the jumpsuit my (and your!) bride tribe deserves.

Autumn florals with pops of pink and purple, a slinky black jumpsuit and a stunning bridesmaid with ginger locks – this editorial photographed by Georgina Harrison shows how truly romantic a dramatic and dark wedding palette can be. Poping light blue ribbons and antique feeling stationery add a touch of bridal “lightness” while keeping to the cool, alternative vibes.

The florals were picked for their advancing beauty and unravelling elegance across three seasons. That after a phase of considered development, they grow further into their fledging potential. Their colours ripen into hues of strength and seasoned conditioning to bring depth and interest to the palette. Each stem has been heart grown. Individually soaking in the environmental rhythm and climes to bring textural narrative of autumn to spring. Sharing notes that bring voice, power and quiet elegance of their evolving beauty.
