Welcome to a beautiful new week!

This is one of the prettiest, most romantic and whimsical weddings I've ever seen.

Lisa and Alex got married on a tiny island in the middle of a lake as their guests watched from across the water. Their reception was held in a 17th Century barn adorned with fairy lights and an elaborately decorated, vintage organ as a backdrop. They continued the vintage, fairground theme with a delightful illustrated stationery suite designed by Hello! Lucky and a myriad of darling DIY details from straw flags to mason jars and pastel pom poms.

Lisa was a vision in intricate lace and layers of tulle, glittery gold Kate Spade shoes, a beautiful braided up do and chic dark toe nail polish. The bridesmaids were elegant in floor length blush pink dresses, complemented perfectly by Alex and his groomsmen who rocked royal blue suits, pale grey ties and oversized blush pink boutonnières. Yep, this was one stylish bridal party.

Add to all that, their photographer was the incredibly talented Marianne Taylor. So you just know it's going to be magical…

See what I mean? Absolutely magical.

Just wait till you see their reception in Part 2!

I'm a BIG fan of Marianne Taylor's photography so I'm thrilled to be featuring her stunning images on Bridal Musings. (Thanks for making my day, Marianne.)

Tomorrow I'll be sharing Mark Brown's utterly gorgeous super 8mm film of their day too. Hurrah!
