Hello friends,
I hope you've had wonderful weekends.
Mine was jam packed with drinks, dancing, brunches, lunches and dinners with friends and family as I tried to squeeze in as much as possible before we head back to SF tomorrow.
For those of you in the UK, I hope you're enjoying the long weekend. Monday morning lie ins are the best aren't they? If you're stuck in work, fear not, I have a whole host of pretty to brighten up your day…no, make that your week!
Starting with a DIY dream of a wedding at the Empire Mine State Park, in Grass Valley, California. Kayla and Patrick's special day was awash with a soft palette of muted pinks, grey and ivory, lace table runners, baby's breath, vintage books and trinkets, mason jars, roses, ruffles and romance. Not to mention an utterly gorgeous bride and some of the most elegant mismatched bridesmaid's dresses I've ever seen. Ever.
The stunning photos by Acres of Hope Photography add to the fairytale like feel of their beautiful day.
From Kayla ~ Our wedding was very soft and romantic, we used muted pinks and ivory. I wanted it to feel like something out of a fairytale, very whimsical and vintage with elegent touches.
Florals ~ The majority of the flowers used in the bouquets and centerpieces were from my mothers garden, we used peonies and babies breath.
Favourite Moment ~ It is so hard to choose just one moment that was my favorite because they entire day was something out a dream but I would have to choose our vows. I was nervous about them because I hate public speaking, but it was such a beautiful and peaceful moment for Patrick and I and just such a meaningful moment and brought me great joy and comfort hearing our promises to love one another in our new journey as husband and wife!
