So after my instagram peek at all the gorgeous goings on at Bridal Market over the weekend, it's time to share a few of my favourite collections.
I think we're all aware of how much I adore Claire Pettibone ~ gorgeous evidence here, here and at this beautiful real wedding here.
The sheer, illusion backs and intricate applicate of her creations take my breath away every time so it's only natural that I'd feature Claire Pettibone's breath-taking Fall 2013 collection first.
Claire Pettibone's catwalk show was one of the highlights of Bridal Market ~ the models looked like ethereal, woodland nymphs as they walked barefoot down a rose petal covered catwalk, adorned with overgrown floral accessories from statement crowns to corsages and necklaces. One of the stunning dresses was even complimented by a belt of leaves.
Messy, knotted up-dos were the hairstyle of choice to show off those exquisite backs and eye make up was an intense greeny blue hue.
The dresses are a Mid Summer Night's Dream come true. Floral lace applique mingles with 3D silk flowers and playful ribbons while the delicate touches of colour, including a wonderfully woodsy sage green, are the perfect finishing touch.
Bohemian brides, prepare to invoke your inner fairy queen…
