I think this Friday will go down in history as one of my favourite Fridays ever.
Zee and I have just spent our first night in our gorgeous new flat in Notting Hill. It's a complete mess – there's stuff everywhere and the temporary wifi is temperamental to say the least BUT it's so good to finally have a place to call our own.*
Christmas is just around the corner ~ four ‘sleeps' away to be exact!
And, to top it all off, I get to feature the beautiful work of Nikole Ramsay, whose dreamy photography I've admired for such a long time.
So, dear readers, I'm pleased to say that your Friday is about to get a whole lot lovelier too…
Nikole Ramsay teamed up with a host of talented and creative Australian wedding professionals to put together a unique bridal shoot inspired by the idea of “pretty meets gritty” ~ soft pink hues, cascading wild florals, romantic ruffles and delicate lace were set against a backdrop of industrial, exposed brickwork to stunning effect.
The thing I love most about this shoot is it's modernity. So many styled shoots I've seen (and featured) over the last couple of years incorporate lots of vintage elements that hark back to yesteryear but not every couple is into vintage tea cups, ornate cutlery and ye olde calligraphy.
This shoot provides romantic and whimsical inspiration for the modern bride. And isn't it utterly enchanting?!
Romantic ruffles, blush pink, delicate florals, a ballerina bun, soft focus make up and incredible photography?
This is the stuff of dreams! I hope you've been inspired.
For those of you wondering about the exquisite floral arrangements, Danielle of Moss Industry Weddings shares a little more:
In the first bouquet (bride in pink dress) the flowers are blushing bride, azalea's, and bridal veil.
The white bouquet is andromeda, roses and ranunculus.
The table arrangement has roses, ranunculus, andromeda, hyacinths, azalea, jasmine, snapdragons and blushing bride.
The plane/flower hanging above the table is bridal veil.
Are you a vintage or a modern bride? Dreaming of ruffles or lace for your big day? And how amazing on a scale of 1-10 are those florals?!
Many thanks to Nikole Ramsay Photography and the rest of the team for sharing these exquisite images with us today. See more gorgeousness from Nikole over on her Facebook page.

*Rufus and I have been moving between my mum's house in Essex and Zee's parent's flat in central London for the last six months which has not been conducive to good blogging so expect your usual two doses of loveliness a day on Bridal Musings in 2013. Woo-hoo!
