It doesn't get much more chic and unique than this.
Kristina and Alan were married back in October 2011 – I love how they used their names and the date of their wedding so boldy on their paper goods throughout their day. While the abundance of orange blooms accented with velvety grey foliage mixed with cosy throws and cushions made for such a warm, inviting atmosphere in their modern museum reception venue, The Newseum in Washington DC.
Oh and watch out for the world's most adorable baby flower girl!

Our wedding day was beautiful all around, but the highlight for us was the reception at the Newseum event space. The floor-to-ceiling windows with the iconic Capitol and Pennsylvania Avenue lit up in the background set an incredible stage. The decor of the room was elegant yet fun and flowing – platinum and orange as the color scheme, accessorized perfectly with festive flower arrangements and personalized bottles of wine as gifts for the guests.
There was an outdoor terrace that had several funky furniture accessories that went well with the vibe of the night, which was both fun and familiar yet distinctive as well. Fun and familiar because of the relatively small party size (-75) consisting of only the closest of family and friends, yet distinctive because of the location, the dancing, the great DJ, and the amazing food by Wolfgang Puck's renowned restaurant The Source.
Overall, an unforgettable event that we will always cherish!
Many congratulations to Kristina and Alan who have just given birth to their first child, a bouncing baby boy!
