These exquisite photos by James Green Photographer are one of the many reasons I love my job.

I feel incredibly lucky to be surrounded by so much beauty, love and artistry on a daily basis and it's always such an honour to share real couple's love stories from all over the world.

Leo and Chalice met and live in Hong Kong but Leo proposed on a visit to London. Their engagement shoot took place in amongst the woods of Wiltshire and at a Downtown Abbey esque stately home, giving a sweet, English charm to their photos.

However, they did bring a Chinese tradition along to the shoot – Chalice wore her wedding dress (as many brides do in Chinese pre wedding shoots) and oh my does she look stunning! While Leo is delightfully dapper in his sharp suit jacket and mix and match (bow) ties. Such a stylish couple!

 From Chalice…

Leo and I met in 2003 at University in Hong Kong. We joined the U Chorus (university choir) of which I was the chairperson. We first met in my 2nd year of university during summer (his last uni summer) in the U Chorus auditions, which I was conducting.

As time went on we had lots of chances to sing and perform together, get to know each other, and soon we started the relationship. We were each other’s first love!

Leo proposed to me in an elegant French restaurant in London on a visit to England. He hid a diamond ring somewhere on the table expecting me to find it, but I didn't see it. He tried 3 different places on the table but still I didn't notice it until he finally put it in front of me! I didn't expect it would happen!!

He is so glad that he didn't choose to hide the ring in my cake! Which I would probably have swallowed without noticing!

We chose James to do our pre wedding photography before we came to England. We found him online and his style stood out to us for his creativity and the light in his photographs.

Our shoot with James was wonderful. It is the first time I’ve had a photo shoot and was nervous and felt a little awkward. James really lightened the mood and helped us relax and enjoy the experience – he helped it feel very natural. It was absolutely a lovely and happy experience to shoot with James. We love our photos!!!

Congratulations Leo and Chalice!
