Happy Tuesday lovely ones!
Today I'm featuring the Jenny Packham Spring/Summer 2014 bridal collection which launched here in New York on Friday.
The thing I love most about Jenny Packham is her subtle use of shimmer, sparkle and sheerness as well as the ladylike quality of her designs. Also being a Brit, it makes me proud to see British designers do so well across the pond!
Sadly I got into New York a little too late on Friday to attend Jenny Packham's catwalk show (sniff) but word on the street is it was magical. Luckily we can ooh and ahh over the photos and, if you want to see the dresses in motion, be sure to check out the film of the whole show.
Jenny Packham Bridal Collection SS14
An industrial New York venue was transformed into a tree lined boulevard at dusk, setting the scene for Jenny Packham's latest collection of romantically soft, feminine designs. Intricate, light beading, delicate embellishment and clean, understated silhouettes played homage to an Edwardian inspiration, whilst romantically volumous ballerina skirts, graceful tulle sleeves and elegantly exposed backs brought to mind a very modern bride, evoking scenes of a chic European destination wedding.
Stunning aren't they?!
Which elegant gown would you walk down the aisle in?
Pssst…British brides take note, on Sunday 10th November 2013, in celebration of the brand’s 25th anniversary, Jenny Packham is hosting an exclusive viewing of her 2014 bridal collection in The Ballroom at Mandarin Oriental Hyde Park. The event will offer brides-to-be the opportunity to get a first look at the latest collection and meet the designer herself.
See the Jenny Packham website for more details and to book tickets.
