Ever wondered what would happen if you found your dream dress, before you'd even started planning your dream wedding?
Well, in the case of Alessia and Andrew, your nuptials become a fairytale soiree fit for a princess and her prince, with soft hues, rich textures, opulent embellishments, and a BIG guest list.
This beautiful, luxurious, and fun wedding in Windsor, Ontario, was captured in gorgeous detail by Vicki Bartel Photography. And as you can see from the shots, Alessia, in her wow-factor dress, and Andrew, in his dapper tuxe, are the picture perfect couple.
Their storybook day is everything you'd expect, with regal tones and illustrative details, duck egg dresses for the girls, dickie bows for the gents, pretty florals and perfect table settings.
From the gold satin, draping over the chairs and the pearl strings, sweeping down from the centrepieces, this wedding is elegant, extravagant and chic. As Alessia says, “Just like the dress…”
The Inspiration
“Looking back now, it would be safe to say that most of my inspirations came from the dress.
When I saw it online I immediately fell in love and then everything about the wedding revolved around the dress, especially the decor.
We just wanted everything to be soft and pretty, just like the dress.”
The Photography
“Vicki did an amazing job capturing the day through her lens.
During our many chats she figured out just how important our formal family pictures were to us and she did an amazing job of capturing the perfect photos.”
The Day
“Another thing my dress had in common with that day was it was BIG. At almost 400 guests we thought it was going to be a super overwhelming day, but truth is nothing about it was overwhelming.
It was truly the most fun day.
The Caboto Club kept everyone full with the amazing meal and the band kept everyone dancing until well after 2am.
The three words I would use to describe that day were, Romantic, Classic and Fun.”
That dress. What a show-stopper. And I can't stop swooning over the rosary beads in the bridal bouquet as well. Such a special touch. (Consider it pinned!)
