Today's wedding is filled with classic elegance and timeless style.
Anna Beth and Justin were married in the beautiful Old Hawthorne, a turn of the century farmstead in Columbia, Missouri.
Their wedding day was photographed beautifully by the fabulous Love Tree Studios, in a dreamy, style that fits the venue and the couple perfectly. Reams of natural light, romantic black and white shots, and sweet moments, captured forever.
Anna Beth makes for the most stunning bride, in an almost regal style, with a classic ballerina bun with a stunning embellished hair slide, white opera gloves for added drama, and an elegant strapless tulle and lace wedding dress, fit for a princess.
Her groom, Justin, paired effortlessly, in a Calvin Klein tux and black bow tie.
These two make quite the palatial pair, and while their wedding was elegant, chic, and beautiful, it was also sweet, intimate, and romantic. Let's call it a “relaxed regal” affair…
The Theme
We chose metallics, pewter, old gold, and bronze with creams. Along with violet accents, which were Justin's preference.

Flowers
We chose, peonies, hydrangea, lisianthus, lilac, ranunculus, astilbe, garden roses, lambs ear, tulips, hypericum, rosemary, muscari, lavender and fern curls.
The Photography
Love Tree Studios captured my brother and sister in law's wedding. The photos were absolutely stunning and they are such a pleasure to work with.
The Unique Details
My Aunt Carin designed our wedding logo which was also made into an embosser that consisted of our first initials, (JA), that was used on our welcome bags, programs, napkins, menus, gift tags, and thank you notes.
Decor and Details
Our reception venue was a beautiful traditionally decorated club, that didn't require much decoration.
For the head table we had Julip cup arrangements in greens, purples, creams and whites with mercury glass tea lights and a pastoral toile green and ivory runner, with three candelabras.
On the guests' tables, we had a single arrangement of all cream and white flowers with mercury glass tea lights. and a cream on cream lace overlay.
We had Bollinger Magnum Champagne as our guest list, and The Perfect Match matches as our favors.
Refreshments
We had a formal sit down meal and signature his and hers cocktails. For the gents, we had a Rum Old Fashioned, and for the ladies, Vodka Cobblers.
Our wedding cake was three tiers with almond poppyseed, traditional fudge chocolate and vanilla cake. For the groom's cake, we had, Chambord-infused vanilla cake with butter cream frosting and a 3d sculpture of our Havanese/Pekanese puppy, Teddy Bear Carlson.
Just beautiful.
I can't get enough of Anna Beth's and Justin's wedding day style, they just make the most elegant couple. I also love their reception table decor, the flowers and candelabra's together are so dramatic and romantic.
