We just love seeing all of your beautiful weddings here at Bridal Musings.
From chic rooftop ceremonies and cool city hall affairs, to rustic DIY weddings and lavish garden parties.
We love the detail, the thoughtfulness, and sometimes we even love the opulence, but we also love when you pare it back, and concentrate on nothing more than the ones you love.
Treasure and Dan’s hillside wedding overlooking the Pacific Ocean in Malibu, California was just that; a striped back wedding day, captured beautifully by the wonderful, Raw Fusion Studio, (remember the sweet movie themed wedding film they created a few weeks back?)
With beautiful words, a thoughtful ceremony, gorgeous style, and a special atmosphere, their one-of-kind wedding is a poignant, sincere and heartfelt.
A simple wedding and a stunning setting is sometimes all you need to create the perfect day.
Before you watch this very special wedding film, we’ll let Maria from Raw Fusion Studio tell you a little more about capturing Treasure and Dan’s special day.
Treasure is a painter and Dan is a writer. She made her wreath and bouquet. They met in Seattle, moved to San Francisco then Los Angeles where they wed in Malbu, CA.
Treasure’s sister, Sunday, was the officiant and her three children are the ones standing next to her. The hike up to the top of the hill was great. We put a microphone on the bride, groom and officiant because the winds were strong that day.
The day’s proceedings were a bit impromptu so we just ran with it. A gorgeous May wedding, this couple were so excited to share this moment with an intimate group of close friends and family.
Isn’t it beautiful? That ceremony reading is just gorgeous, and I love that the guests hiked to the ceremony spot, and that Treasure’s sister officiated the wedding – so intimate.
Thanks so much to Raw Fusion Studio and Treasure and Dan for sharing this special wedding film with us.
