If cats are to the internet, what mason jars are to weddings – imagine if you simply skipped the rest, and put cats and weddings together instead…
A cuteness overload? A gorgeousness explosion? An asteroid of adorable?
And these aren’t just cats… They’re KITTENS! (Orphan kittens!)
*Full disclosure, the cats themselves did not get married.*
This too-cute wedding inspiration, is the work of Happily, a wedding planning go-to that is soon to launch a shiny new planning app for couples, which will bring together the wisdom of their incredible team of planners in one easy tool.
(They’re offering Bridal Musings couples the chance to test it first, just sign up, and let them know you heard it here first.)
And this fun, yet stylish cat themed wedding displays what they’re all about, with unique wedding concepts, personal touches and attention to detail.
No cat phrase was left unpunned, the centrepieces were balls of yarn, the cake toppers were a couple of kittens, and the confetti came out in a litter tray. Yet alongside the feline features, were fabulous blooms, beautiful cakes, chic stationery, and a stunning BHLDN wedding dress.
Captured beautifully by Josh Madson, with purrfect creative direction and styling from Alex Michael May of Beautilitarian (see, even we’re getting in on the puns now), these creative cats show that themed weddings, need not be tacky.
Crazy cat ladies and feline loving fellows, prepare to pin like you’ve never pinned before. This, is your dream wedding…
Just Meowied. Too blooming cute. (And I just noticed the gold cat food tins trailing from the car. Amazing!)
And that’s not all, there’s a film too!
Let us know what you think, would you go all out with a wedding theme? Would yours revolve around your pets, or how about your favourite sports team or movie?
It’s so great to see a super-themed wedding look so stylish, don’t you think?
And as for the stars of the show, the cats and kittens were from Second Hand Souls Animal Rescue, you can find out more about the great work they do with cats and other animals on their Facebook page.
