Earlier we gave you guys a sneak peak of Tanya and Jack’s beautiful Lake Garda wedding day, with a stunning film by Sidney Diongzon Film & Photography and now it’s time to swoon over their photographs.
Also captured by Sidney Diongzon in his uniquely beautiful style, the incredible setting of Malcesine Castle made for the most sensational, romantic, and breathtaking backdrop.
This adorable couple, spent their intimate day surrounded by their closest friends and family, taking in the idyllic cobbled streets around Lake Garda, enjoying a scenic boat ride, then feasting on exquisite Italian cuisine.
A beautiful simple day, that lets the backdrop do the talking, lets take a trip to Italy, and feast your eyes on Tanya and Jack’s breathtaking Lake Garda wedding day…
Wedding Day Snapshot
Our wedding was a small Italian-style day with 50 guests. Very relaxed with plenty of food and drink.
We had our ceremony at Malcesine Castle on the edge of Lake Garda, at 5pm with string quartet. Following this, we had canapes and Champagne in the castle grounds.
We then walked our way through the Italian streets to a little harbour where we boarded a boat to take us to our choice of restuarant, Alla Fassa, which was 20 minutes away. Here we had a beautiful 5 course meal and disco ’til midnight.
Romantic rustic with lace and neutral Champagne and pink.
Love is Patient, Corinthians 13:4-8
Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud.
It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs.
Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth.
It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.
Love never fails.
But where there are prophecies, they will cease; where there are tongues, they will be stilled; where there is knowledge, it will pass away.
Our Day in Three Words
Romantic, picturesque and intimate.
The decor was very minimal just lanterns on the tables, with pink rose petals and a few clear crystal gems. We also had paper lanterns on the floor leading into restaurant.
We had canapes and Champagne at castle. Followed by five-course meal of mixed starters, mushroom rissotto, fish, steak with peppercorn sauce, and mixed mini desserts. Plus traditional Italian wedding cake.
Advice for Other Couples
We would highly recommend getting married abroad, it’s far cheaper and the scenery was just stunning. It was very relaxed and our planner Pam Barrack from Romantic Weddings on Lake Garda was amazing.
Sidney Diongzon had stunningly beautiful previous work, loved the way he and Joanne captured weddings in the videography.
Isn’t it just spectacular? You don’t need any big DIY projects or ornate decor when a setting is that epic. And the photographs capture it so beautifully, don’t they?
Thanks so much to the awesome Sidney Diongzon, and the gorgeous Jack and Tanya, for sharing their intimate Lake Garda wedding with us. Don’t forget to check out their amazing wedding film too!
