Hello!

Hope you're all feeling fabulous on this lovely long weekend!

I set out to do a little write up of my White Gallery experience but it turned into this…yikes!

Unfortunately they don't let you take photos so I've had to improvise and share a couple of the beautiful dresses I saw and LOVED.

♥ I attended the luxurious White Gallery bridal exhibition on Monday. It's a wedding industry event where the UK's top bridal designers share their latest collections {mostly dresses, but some shoes, hairpieces and jewelry} on the catwalk and at their stands. I was blown away by the catwalk shows as I've never been to any on such a grand scale! I felt all fancy with my ‘press badge' sitting in the front row {but, to be fair, it was a very long catwalk so most people were on the front row!}

Bardot by Stephanie Allin is one of my all time favourite wedding dress styles and it was wonderful to see a model strutting down the catwalk wearing it. It's so timeless and even more lovely than I'd imagined…

♥ One of the best things about the show is that I got to meet some of the wedding bloggers who have been such an inspiration to me including Annabel of vintage wedding blog Love My Dress, who is just as I imagined her to be from her writing style, warm and friendly and looking very glamourous. I also got to have coffee and a chat with the fabulous Kat from Rock n Roll Bride who was not enamored with all the bridal fluff! And I met up with the lovely Jo from Something Blue PR and Rebecca and Charlotte from Rock My Wedding. As an RMW bride myself, it was wonderful to meet the ladies behind the blog and chat about all things wedding, the dresses on the catwalk and our Pinterest obsession!

I also finally got to see Claire Pettibone's Mystere dress aka the dress of my boho wedding dreams:

♥ My favourite dress collections from the White Gallery included Claire PettiboneStephanie AllinJohanna Hehir, David Fieldan and the shoes by Harriet Wilde and Rachel Simpson are works of art! Lovely Fong from Matthew Willliamson insisted I come see the newest additions to the collection which are extremely very gorgeous.There are few up and coming designers with a unique take on bridal fashion who I'm really excited about so I'll be sure to do a few posts dedicated to them in the coming weeks.
