We always get excited when a real wedding pops up in our inboxes, but when the bride or groom works in the wedding industry, we're even quicker to click in and see what kind of inspired, creative, and exciting details they've added to their day.

(No pressure!)

So when the wonderful Kaysha Weiner Photographer, sent Carrie and Justin's stunning ranch wedding our way, we weren't surprised to find out that this gorgeous bride makes planning weddings her day job.

Attention to detail, effortless styling, and stunning co-ordination gives this wedding such a professional polish, and we're so excited to share it with you…

As you know we love a contrast in styles, but what was so beautiful about Carrie and Justin's California wedding, was how cohesive their contrast was.

While being set against the beautiful natural backdrop of Retro Ranch, with BBQ catering and creative touches, their wedding, planned with Pure Lavish Events, was every inch a glamorous affair worthy of a ballroom backdrop.

Plush blooms, luxe grey hues for the gents and bridesmaids, chic glass tableware, classic furniture and the most gorgeous ceremony entranceway, all created a look that was elegant and polished, all the while sitting in the most scenic So Cal countryside surrounds.

All the charm of a ranch wedding, yet all the sophistication of a black tie soiree, (oh, and the most lovely couple, beaming throughout!) prepare to be inspired by Carrie and Justin's beautiful day…

Our Wedding

From the moment Justin asked me to marry him I knew I wanted our wedding at the Retro Ranch in Temecula.

Being a wedding planner myself, I had been there many times and not only love the owners but the property is a green lush blank canvas for design.

I didn't want anything rustic, my event designer (Kevin from Pure Lavish Events) wanted to make sure it stayed timeless and chic.

I wanted to look at our photos down the road and still fall in love with everything. Although not a huge fan of pink, I do like specific hues and went with a pale blush along with champagne and ivory.

Simple and chic in my humble opinion.

The Decor & Details

My mom and I designed table numbers out of plexi-glass because I wanted something that you don’t see very often.

I paralleled that with our card box and sign saying “Justin, Here Comes Your Gal!” The more cohesive look the better, I’m a bit OCD!

Florals were kept simple, using hydrangea, garden roses and tibet roses. Florals by Jenny nailed the look I was going for!

We intermixed different mercury and blush votives at each table to keep the look original and not your everyday mercury candles.

We laughed throughout the evening and guest ringing cow bells we had made with a tag reading, “Ring it out, we like to makeout!” Can’t take your wedding day too serious!

Our Favourite Memories

The day was incredible, I remember just wanting to see Justin. I wanted to hug him and celebrate!

Justin and I didn't do a first look and I was so happy we didn’t. Seeing him at the altar in front of all our family and friends was irreplaceable. We both immediately teared up and yet at the same time had beaming smiles.

From the ceremony we went into the reception which was full of laughs and dancing.

We didn't want traditional wedding food so we choose Canyon Catering to cater their BBQ, we finished every last bite and then some! We even ordered it for our one-month anniversary!

We had three cakes, because I just love cake and couldn't decide on a flavor, and although my husband smashed it in my face, they were all perfection and tasted amazing!

The entire day from getting ready with my family and friends to our last dance of the evening was a dream I wish I could re-live every year!

Isn't it fabulous, that's how a wedding planner plans a wedding, such beautiful attention to detail, but so simple too!

How Kaysha caught Justin's face as Carrie walked down the while is just so perfect too, don't you think?

Thanks so much to Kaysha Weiner, and the gorgeous Carrie and Justin for sharing their beautiful ranch wedding with us.
