When I (Claire here, hello!) clapped eyes on this shoot for the first time, I instantly fell in love. This is my kind of wedding inspiration.
Dreamy gowns, gorgeous bakes and beautiful tablescaping, and at the end of the day, just a bunch of friends sitting casually around a table, sharing good wine, good food and great conversation.
In my book, that’s perfection!
Set in Colorado, this shoot was the work of fabulous photographer, Cat Mayer Studio, and a talented team of local vendors, who not just brought their a-game with beautiful style, pretty paper goods, and glorious floristry, but gave an authentically organic feel to the entire shoot.
Read more from Cat about the inspiration behind it, scroll down to see her stunning pictures, then watch the film at the end from Jami Davis Films, for a real sense of the vibe on the day.
Oh and don’t forget to pin anything that inspires you for your own nuptials – that’s me pinning this whole shoot then, I guess!
From the Photographer
Palisade in western Colorado is known for its natural beauty, hike and bike trails, and ski slopes.
I teamed up with a fabulous team of local vendors to illustrate the rustic and natural beauty found here—in everything from our fruit orchards, wineries, and even local flower growers. <
They all lend themselves to fabulous weddings full of farm-to-table food, local wine and brews, and homegrown florals—all from the local landscape.
The cakes covered in beer hops were a hit!

Isn’t it all so chilled out and gorgeous, the flowers, cakes, and stationery are just beautiful, I just adore how the produce has been used for the styling (that’s such a big trend right now), who knew cabbage and eggs could look so chic!
Thanks so much to Cat Mayer Studio and this phenomenal team for creating such authentic rustic wedding inspiration.
