Sometimes we only need to read the names of the people involved in a shoot to know it’s going to be pretty special.
And this fine art wedding shoot by Magnolia Adams Photography, captured on a photography workshop with Kurt Boomer, is sheer, unadulterated escapism, in dreamy photo shoot form!
Before you head off into a day dream of prettiness, we’ll let the lovely Michelle Leach of Magnolia Adams Photography tell us a little more about this enchanting inspiration shoot…
From The Photographer
“The woman who follows the crowd will usually get no further than the crowd. The woman who walks alone is likely to find herself in places no one has ever been.” Albert Einstein
I love this inspirational quote for the bridal portion of Kurt Boomer’s film workshop this past May.
I believe it is in every creative’s best interest to invest in and cultivate their gifts and passions. Investing in a workshop to learn more about film; how to shoot, how to teach clients its value… was priceless.
In the wedding industry, especially if you only shoot weddings in your local region, it’s easy to plan and shoot the same things repeatedly. But getting outside of your comfort zone is where you start to find yourself and blaze your own trail.
I loved this shoot created by Joy Proctor and Kurt Boomer, it was an honor to be a part of it.
Isn’t it dreamy? Film photography is just so romantic, don’t you think?
Thanks so much to Magnolia Adams Photography, and the rest of this stellar team of wedding professionals for sharing their shoot with us.
