Happy Valentine's Weekend lovelies!

I hope you're enjoying a wonderful couple of days, and treating your loved one (or being treated!) to breakfast in bed, an abundance of blooms, and picnics in the living room (it's a little too chilly for the park!).

We thought, because of the weekend that's in it, it was the perfect time to share a particularly sweet proposal story, romantic engagement shoot, and gorgeous wedding dress collection – all in one post!

Sabrina Dahan is a wedding dress designer, who creates the most beautiful gowns. And she's also a bride-to-be with a love affair with Paris.

So it was pretty fitting that her fiance Aaron chose to pay homage to the city where they met, fell in love, (and then fell in love all over again) when he proposed to her.

And that they'd return to Paris for their super chic, totally romantic, Eiffel Tower engagement shoot with Katie Mitchell Photography.

How We Met

Aaron and I met through a friend seven years ago in Paris while he was studying abroad for the summer and I was working a fashion internship.

When summer ended and we were both back in Los Angeles for school dated for a few months and for whatever reason it didn’t work out at the time.

After about a year and half of not being together, we both decided to go on a Euro trip planned by the same friend that introduced us. Of course no Euro trip would be complete without a stop in Paris!

While in Paris together for the second time, we decided to give our relationship a second a chance and we fell in love in the most romantic city in the world and the rest is history. We have been together ever since!

Needless to say that was the best summer of my life!

How He Asked

Since Paris is a city that is near and dear to my heart not only because it's where I met the love of my life but also because a lot of my family lives there and I have been spending my summers in Paris for years.

This past summer, Aaron and I weren’t able to plan a trip to Paris because I was in the beginning stages of launching my first bridal collection.

Aaron had told me that we were going to his parents house for his sister’s surprise birthday party. When we arrived no one was home, there was French music playing and in front of me was a path of rose petals and candles leading to the backyard.

Outside was a picnic for two in front of a replica of the Eiffel Tower! Aaron brought our special place to us and it was the most beautiful and sweetest moment of my life.
