And for today’s choice of our favourite shows from Bridal Fashion Week, we’re sharing a collection that’s altogether more classic.
The beautiful Spring 2017 collection by Anne Barge.
Anne Barge is a go-to for brides who want the classic, elegant, quintessentially ‘bridal’ wedding dress, without forgoing contemporary design and unique detailing.
For Spring 2017, Anne Barge has created an extensive collection of timeless silhouettes, with long lace sleeves, daring backless styles, strapless gowns and high low skirts all finding a place in this chic runway.
But it’s not all about keeping things typical; glistening epaulettes, sheer panels and unusual necklines add a current feel across the whole collection.

About the Collection
The Anne Barge Spring 2017 collection is an interpretation of nature’s ethereal transition.
Each gown is inspired by the awakening of spring gardens, still covered in frost, petals only peeking.
Ice-like crystals and cascading pearls sparkle over silk crepe while floral accents climb trellis-like embroidery.
Alençon lace appliqués trickle down layers of silk white chiffon and Italian crepe in feminine silhouettes.
The collection is comprised of 30 timeless gowns for the romantic bride seeking newness in classic style.
They’ve got real wow factor, don’t you think? I love the ones with the less structured, flowing skirts, and I’m still a sucker for a long lace sleeve!
Anne Barge wedding dresses are priced from $3000-$5000 (£1900-3300), for more information on this, and other collections, visit the Anne Barge website.
