Meet Brooke, a sweet and stylish Bridal Musings reader (aren't you all?) and her fun loving fiancé Sam.
They are both lawyers from New Jersey and are clearly head over heels for each other.
It looks like they had such a blast on their engagement shoot – hanging out by the beach, playing arcade games, dancing in the street and accosting an ice cream truck for a few awesome shots! (Yes, really.)
These photos by Markow Photography just radiate love and happiness and, if you listen really carefully, you can almost hear the waves lapping on the beautiful Jersey Shore.
The Proposal
Sam chose to propose at a place that was very near and dear to us, Long Beach Island, New Jersey. I spent my summers at my grandma's house in LBI (which is pictured in our engagement photos). One Friday evening, after arriving at the shore house, Sam suggested that we go to dinner. We went to dinner at a restaurant on the beach. After, Sam suggested that we take a walk on the beach, it was a beautiful night. I mentioned how perfect the night was; Sam replied that it was almost perfect. I inquired as to what he meant and he got down on one knee and proposed. Family and friends celebrated with us for the rest of the weekend in LBI. Which we excitedly referred to as Engagement Weekend 2012!
