When I got married over the summer, I knew I’d be going for a long white dress with a boho flower crown, so for our civil wedding, I decided to channel a fun look that I wouldn’t usually get to rock every day. Priscilla Presley, Nancy Sinatra and Lana Del Rey were my inspiration for my blue mini dress, lots of eyeliner, and short veil combo.
So, as you can imagine, this impossibly cool, old school L.A. elopement shoot, by XO & Fetti, is right up my street.
From the pretty vintage gloves and the heirloom jewellery, to the edgy mullet wedding dress and fun polka dot veil, the bridal style in this shoot is just killer. As is the groom’s with his skinny tie and slicked back hair.
And playing almost as big a role as the style, is the The Velaslavasay Panorama at Union Theatre and the quintessentially Los Angeles streets around it.
If you have a penchant for all things retro, Hollywood, and oh-so-stylish, we think you’re going to find inspiration in this super gorgeous shoot.
Oh, isn’t it just achingly cool? I love it! I think it’s awesome when couples who elope get a fun announcement shot too, and an ‘I Do’ or ‘We Eloped’ sign is perfect for it.
Also – doesn’t this shoot make you want to go to L.A.?
Thanks so much to XO & Fetti for sharing this very fun, entirely gorgeous elopement inspiration with us.
