Whatever budget you’re working with, wedding dresses can be seriously expensive. And as much as we love the craftsmanship that goes into a couture gown, for many brides, a designer wedding dress just isn’t worth the splurge.

Thankfully, the options for budget wedding dresses have been growing and growing over recent years, and now, a cluster of our favourite high street brands and websites have been launching dedicated collections that cater to brides who want to rock a gorgeous, stylish white dress on their wedding day – without the formality or fuss of a traditional wedding dress.

Now not all of these collections are created (or priced!) equally. So to help you find your perfect high street wedding dress, we’ve rounded up ten of the collections we’re most excited about (and the ones we reckon you’ll be excited about too!).

1. Topshop

As you can imagine, we were pretty excited last week when we opened our inboxes to the announcement of a Topshop bridal collection. Launching on April 13th, the collection will have five wedding dresses, and 25 bridesmaid dresses, along with shoes, hair accessories and lingerie.

These simple, yet pretty gowns are definitely for a fashion bride, with pastel slip dresses, off-the-shoulder floral gowns, and some ethereal vintage styles.

Prices will range from £350-795, ($650-1500) for wedding dresses, and the dresses will be available in UK sizes 4-16.

2. Reiss

Reiss is renowned for some of the best men’s tailoring on the high street, so whether you’re a bride, a groom or a guest, their dedicated Wedding Edit is certainly worth checking out.

Think smart, classic dresses that would be perfect for a city hall wedding or civil ceremony, or cool jumpsuits and pant suits for something cool, yet timeless.

While their menswear can be a little pricier than other high street stores, Reiss is a must-try for grooms looking for sharp, modern cuts for their wedding day suit.

3. Addition Elle

Addition Elle is a Canadian brand that’s been acclaimed for offering women stylish choices in US sizes 12-26 – and now they’re offering a gorgeous collection of plus size wedding dresses too.

With prices from $240-380, this collection of five lace wedding dresses is not only affordable, but the gowns reflect current styles too. With options in sleeveless, long-sleeve and midi-length styles, I just love that this collection is giving choices to brides who may have had few high street options in the past.

4. Whistles

The new Whistles wedding dress collection, which launched in February, is one of the most quality offerings for brides I’ve seen from the high street.

Whistles is already known as quite a high-end and stylish brand, but I love that their wedding dresses are still quite fun and playful, as well as being entirely chic and contemporary.

These beautiful dresses start from £499, and are available online, or you can try them on at Whistles’ flagship boutique in London.

5. Asos

ASOS have long been among our faves for wedding day style, ever since they launched their Wedding Shop last year (and maybe even before that!). They’ve just released lots of gorgeous dresses and accessories for Spring/Summer 2017, and it has to be one of the most varied and extensive collections online.

With something for every style of bride (and groom, and bridal party, and guests), in a broad selection of sizes and price ranges, even if you’ve already got your wedding dress, their edit is worth shopping for fashion-forward and affordable bridal accessories too.

6. Phase Eight

Phase Eight have one of those high street wedding dress collections that you really should see in real life – they look so much more expensive in the flesh!

With a gorgeous mix of contemporary and classic styles, I think lots of brides will find something they love among their affordable collection, with luxe beading, modern textures, and chic short styles.

These beauties are priced from £250-£595.

7. Lipsy

If you’re looking for a wedding dress that’s fun and sexy, then the Lipsy wedding dress collection might just be the one for you.

Their recently launched range of dresses and accessories for brides and bridesmaids have the high street brands signature glamour with bodycon styles, sheer textures, and lots of lace.

With dresses for under £200, these would be perfect for an impromptu elopement.

8. Missguided

The Missbrided collection from coveted online brand Missguided is perhaps got the most affordable wedding dress collection around. With white dresses from just £90, this collection is all about feeling cool, looking effortless, and saving the cash for your honeymoon.

Perfect for laid-back weddings, these gowns are contemporary, fun, and sexy – definitely one for a bride who wants to do her own thing (or spend big on the shoes!).

9. Reformation

Effortlessly chic, easy to wear, and so gorgeous, we’re huge fans of Reformation, and their dresses make the perfect chic, yet relaxed choice for brides, bridesmaids and wedding guests.

Pretty slip dresses, flattering wrap dresses, thigh-high splits and breezy textures – these dresses often get snapped up fast, so if you find one you love, don’t hesitate to pop it in your basket and hit ‘order’.

10. Needle & Thread

We’ve got a serious soft-spot for London brand Needle & Thread, and their beautiful embellished dresses.

We’ve loved them ever since they appeared on ASOS a few years back, and now their dedicated bridal collection is available on their own site, on BHLDN, as well as in department stores, and lots of other outlets online too.

While these gowns do cost a little more than many other high street brands, (£275-1150), the craftsmanship and design make them among the most coveted ready-to-wear wedding dresses on the planet.
