Hello again!
In Part 1 we marveled at Missy and Matt's unique, intimate, Amphitheater ceremony and couldn't take our eyes off Missy's chic bridal style. Part 2 is all about the couple's shots, the red convertible and their fairy light filled reception. {FYI there will also be even more swooning over Missy's gorgeous wedding dress…and those shoes!}
Here's Missy with more about their wedding day:
Matt, who is a fly fishing guide in his spare time, was surprised by my walking down the aisle to “A River Runs Through It” which my friend David had rearranged for brass, no easy task! Matt recognized it right away and loved the surprise. Two of our three black labs were in appearance in their bow-tie fanciness, which went perfectly with the same grooms ties and black attire.
My close friend Shelby made the table numbers from scratch, stencils and fancy papers created the vintage/modern look. The bridesmaids wore black dresses of their choice and bright coloured shoes. For the bouquets we chose peonies, ranunculus, jasmine, garden roses; guys wore a single ranunculus with jasmine.
The night was magical! It was a late start- 6:15 wedding, so drinks were a top order. We served Pimm's Cup (my fav drink), watermelon margaritas (sanchez, and all) and Veuve (also my fav!) donated by the homeowners, my friends Carolyn and Tom. Magical Magical Magical! It was amazing how all of the pieces seemed to fit together perfectly. I had collected vintage dessert plates, and vintage glass decor for the tables. Dessert was a huge focal point, since we love sweets! We served 5 kinds of cake balls, lemon cupcakes, french macarons, mini carrot cupcakes, and candy (red vines, peppermint patties, jordan almonds, swedish fish, and sour patch kids)!
Food was made by my close friend Katie Bruzdzinski of Eat LLC (icookyoueat.com). For appetizers, she served hummus, prosciutto and goat cheese wrapped asparagus, Swedish meatballs, and chicken satay. For dinner she served salmon with pesto, steak with balsamic reduction, lemon Israeli couscous, Caesar salad, and grilled asparagus. The favours were local chocolates by Chocolove.
