Foragers unite for this delightfully whimsical, dried floral fete. Filled with organic inspiration, this wedding styled shoot from Olea & Fig Studio features a balance of delicate heirloom grasses and blooms, and fragile glass & hardy stone – truly celebrating the nature abound.

Always searching for the “next thing” in place cards, we’re smitten with this agate slice name cards. Sometimes iridescent, sparkling a rainbow of natural tones, agates name cards could be a gorgeous gift to your guests to take home – perhaps coasters?

The dried flowers too, are quite inspiring. Wild golden crowns with spurts of bright florals give this shoot all the whimsy we could ever ask for. Pampas grass waves in the golden light (captured so beautifully by The Stage Photography) and the JE Wedding gowns flutter through the meadow – what a dream!

We wanted to capture the unique natural and surreal landscape of Southeast Asia, creating an escape from digital information overload, the chaos of urban living. The photoshoot took place at Yangmingshan in Taipei, Taiwan.

We wanted to portray that unexpected natural beauty with withering leaves, bare twigs, the moody yet lovely feather-like reed grass in the mountains during the winter times. We also imagined the setting be the home of nature’s spirits, fairies and spirits, full of whimsy.

This is an interpretation of a fairytale fantasy during a calm, serene wintertime on an island, a story that captures the beauty of natural elements.

The color palette selected are a few muted, earthy shades, and organic greenery are applied throughout the design to echo and further enhance the natural beauty of this beautiful island.

Matte black utensils were selected to mirror the black rocks of Yangmingshan. Instead of bold centerpieces, to amalmigate the tabletop design with nature, we opted for smaller floral decor tied to the champagne glasses and added feathers to our tablescape to incorporate the ethereal spirit.

We also wanted to channel the fairy, celestial spirit through a “transparent” design concept, therefore, all glassware and tabletop candle holders glass, showcasing beauty in simplicity. Agate slices were also used as decor to for that translucent feel.

For the backdrop installation, we applied the same feather inspired concept, combining faded mauve feathers, reed grass and mountain breeze for the airy vibe. For the two bouquets, flower crowns, dresses, hair and makeup styling, we further channeled the whimsical, woodland spirit, fun and romantic. The stationery design is a suite of handmade papers, such as wheat and potato papers, with hand lettering, along with slightly burnt edges.
