Sometimes a historic day on our lives calls for a historic space – and Lola and Cesar opted for the most breathtaking, cliffside, Mallorcan venue for their stylish affair.

Son Marroig is the destination venue of our dreams. Set cliffside with ancient pillars and a luxurious and rustic space, the venue offered unbelievable views of nearby mountains, sparkling sea and a killer sunset.

Clearly fashionable folk, the couple and their guests filled the space beautifully with quite hip and modern style. Lola wore a stunning, low-back Laure de Sagazan gown (the designer who won our hearts at Bridal Market in April) which gave the proper “low-key French girl vibes” for the former French student. And her crew looked absolutely dapper, offering chic hats for all to wear (likely to shield that steamy Mallorca sun) and featuring extremely well-dressed guests (who’s mom is wearing the killer red jumpsuit?!)

Our Love Story

We met one night in Lille, France where César is from. I was studying there for one year but César was living in Madrid which is my hometown! Then we met in Madrid because we had mutual French friends.

After that, we started dating (10 years ago). Then, César had to come back to France because of work but we started a four-year long-distance relationship. However, two years ago, I made a decision and brought him back to Madrid!

The Photography

Pere & Marga were a recommendation of our wedding planner and we could not have chosen better! We love her natural style.

Favorite Moments

The ceremony was the most special moment: emotive, personal and surrounded by the people we love the most, all from different parts of the world (Madrid, Paris, Marsella, Sevilla, Lyon, Saint-Tropez, Sidney…). It was a really magic moment and with the most beautiful views!

Also, having a good party was important for us which is why we had really good music.

The Decor

All the decor was made by Marian, our planner and stylist.

Our wedding color palette was made of whites and greens for the ceremony and nudes, pinks and oranges in the dinner.

For the reception, we had huge tables, Italian-styled with flower centerpieces and colored glasses. It has a rustic Mediterranean style that we absolutely love it! All mixed with the amazing views and the sunset. We loved the place from the first moment and you could see in the photos why!

Advice to Other Couples

Without any doubt, counting on a wedding planner is our best recommendation. We wanted to enjoy all of our day and not being worried about anything. In the end, this is a day that you are not going to repeat so, it is best to have a professional to care about the important things while you only enjoy with your family and friends! Moreover, having a planner is the best way to control your budget.
