The creative team behind the shoot let the classic space contrast with the fashion-forward couple. White walls, 1920s molding, a grand piano and clean marble table give the couple a vintage flair while remaining a clean slate for their own wedding style.

We can’t let you go without mention the absolutely fabulous wedding cake! One would consider it traditional at first, with its clean white color and mile high tiers, but the light marble details & layers of varying heights set this cake apart from the rest.

There’s a delicate balance between modern and traditional. Too much of one and your design instantly feels stark and cold or stuffy and outdated. After waking into the modern meets classic beauty of the newly opened space at Company 251, the inspiration flowed and traditional elements with an updated aesthetic fell into place.

Photographed by Roots of Life with planning and floral by Heirloom Event Co. brought to life a soft color palette offset with natural elements of wood and stone.

Combining modern elements such as the bride’s full cape delicately accented with pearls from Alyssa Kristin with the classic mill-work and marble-topped table. Stunning organic botanical paper goods were created by Emily Rose Ink along with a custom ring from Susie Saltzman (Emily’s own!)

The bride wore a custom gown from Alyssa Kristin. A modern cut with a full cape delicately accented with pearls created a statement. The classic mill-work and baby grand piano made a perfect backdrop to feature a romantic cake created by Toni Patisserie.

Kith & Kin‘s bridal tea salon was the perfect addition to elevate our shoot. Offering brides a customized, intimate experience on their wedding day, bridal tea service is a great way for a bride and her maids to relax and savor in the moment before the hectic day unfolds. In keeping with the theme, we used loose tea favor boxes on each place setting.
