Good morning,

I'm thrilled to share this glamourous, destination wedding with you today ~ time to leave behind grey, dreary London for passionate, fiery Buenos Aires!

Andi, the beautiful bride, is an established travel writer, so it was only fitting that she had a travel themed wedding! I adore all the unique, travel details such as the tiny map cut out airplanes adorning the tables, the vintage suitcase filled with travel books and escort cards as well as the map motif used throughout the wedding.

The super talented Kyle Hepp captured all the love and beauty of Andi and Lucas' day perfectly with help from the fantastic Feather and Stone Photography.

From the bride, Andi: We wanted to honor both American and Argentinean traditions at the same time, as well as highlight the fact that our relationship had been a long-distance one filled with an abundance of traveling.  It also had some Brasilian touches to it, as that is where we were engaged and hope to live one day.

The colors were shades of pink and red and it was travel themed.  While we did have a couple of vintage pieces such as luggage, maps, and a globe, for the most part the wedding definitely had a modern, sexy vibe to it. The flowers were a mix of various types, however the main wedding flower was a rose {both pink and red}.

The centerpieces were vases in different sizes with floating roses and candles.  There was butterfly and airplane confetti strewn about and they were made out of vintage maps.  The table markers were long stem roses with different postcards attached to the stem.  There were 2 vintage suitcases and a vintage globe for decoration.  Inside one of the suitcases were the name cards and there was a sign that said, “Where in the world am I sitting?”

The hotel, which is known for its delectable gourmet food, served a 9-course meal and the cake was chocolate and dulce de leche.  There was an open champagne and wine bar. We had the same band during the ceremony and reception. Processional: Pachelbel’s Canon, Ring Exchange: Ave Maria, Recessional: Suos Le Dome Epais, First Dance with my husband: Besame Mucho, First Dance with my father: The Way You Look Tonight.

Advice for other brides: I wish that I had REALLY taken to heart what every bride had told me during the tedious process of planning, which was that it was the marriage and not the wedding that truly mattered.  It would have been the wedding of my dreams no matter what color the flowers were, because I was marrying the man of my dreams.

Congratulations Andi and Lucas, wishing you a wonderful life traveling the world together!

If you love to travel then you'll LOVE Andi's blog, My Beautiful Adventures. She has, quite possibly, the best job in the world and writes about her travels so eloquently.

Many thanks to Kyle of Kyle Hepp Photography ~ it's always a pleasure featuring your stunning photography! Check out an interview I did with Kyle and a bridal shoot in the mountains of Chile to see more of her work on Bridal Musings.
