We were inspired by gold and its royal power. The extraordinary golden dress of Marco & Maria is a dream and looked simply perfect in the Gewandhaus Hotel in the heart of Dresden. In this shoot, we wanted to combine modern and elegant architecture with a nostalgic touch of Art Nouveau style and highlight the femininity of our bride and florals.

The color palette of gold, rosé, jade and azure tones is fresh and romantic at the same time – something that you do not expect to see together. Exactly like our real couple – My from Vietnam and Jak from England – who are so beautiful together!

The Dress

The dress by Marco y Maria is a statement of exclusivity. Just like all dresses they create, this gown is feminine, light and extraordinary and is characterized by it’s exclusively printed and three- dimensional embroidered fabrics. The textiles are handmade in Tenerife and therefore can not be copied. To add to the air of exclusivity, M & M dresses are also very often worn by international stars on red carpets.

The Design

The Gewandhaus Dresden has a very special charm, as it uniquely interprets the grace and architecture of this traditional hotel in a modern and stylish way. The atrium as the exclusive center embodies the centerpiece of the noble hotel with incomparable tranquility and elegance.

The design concept of Marry in Love takes the ubiquitous copper colors of the interior and exterior and continues it in the elements of stationery and decoration. Along with a warm crème, champagne and rose gold, a color shading in deep green, jade and azure tones enhance the atmosphere into a Mediterranean-like scene. The combination of bright floristry from lush peonies and elegant orchids is therefore light, modern and elegant.

From the save-the-date card to the menu card, the stationery brings together various materials. A lavishly sealed envelope made of translucent paper suggests the graceful silhouette of the bride, bends the bow to the airy light envelopes and finds the elegant language of the Gewandhaus hotel in the high-quality refinements of rose gold and fine glitter.
