Hello lovely readers,

I am always so honoured to feature each and every couple's wedding and photographer or videographer's work on Bridal Musings but their are some weddings and some wedding imagery that makes me catch my breath.

Eric and Kelda's wedding, photographed by Stone Crandall Photography,  is one of those weddings and I'm pretty certain of 3 things:

1. These incredible wedding photos will blow you away.

2. This chic wedding in San Francisco will have you spell bound by its delicate, charming beauty.

3. If, like me, you're not a fan of green, you will be after you see the stunning moss green bridesmaids' dresses alongside their pale pink, white and grey bouquets!

Thoughtful Romanticism

Eric and I had a relatively short engagement, just four months. So developing a vision for our wedding day was an important first step before we started our planning. With the help of our unbelievably creative wedding planner we coined the phrase “thoughtful romanticism” to guide our decisions making. We were incredibly blessed in that the big details such as venue (and therefore the date!), catering, flowers, a band and a dress all seemed to fall into place easily on short notice.

Something Old, New, Borrowed And Blue

The dress was by far my favorite part of being a bride. My dress was designed by Amy Kuschel who makes every gown couture in her San Francisco studio. The modern sheath silhouette was soft and feminine, I loved pairing it with a classic birdcage-style veil.

I found 1930s era chandelier earrings from a vintage jewelry store near my apartment…they became my something old. I paired them with wavy, sparkly bangles as my something new. Something borrowed came from my cousin, who had worn a butterfly pin in her hair on her wedding day in honor of our grandfather who had recently passed away. My sister carried the butterfly pin in her bouquet when she was married, and I was honored to carry it in mine, too. A handkerchief embroidered in blue with our wedding date and initials was my something blue & it certainly came in handy during our vows.

The Ceremony

The ceremony was held in San Francisco’s Presidio Chapel, a reverent and historic venue soaked in history. The old chapel bell was rung right after we were pronounced husband and wife (which, according to one of our friends, was exactly at 5:39pm), it was such a special moment!

Absolutely stunning…

Hands up who else is loving the moss green, grey and pale pink colour palette!

Come back tomorrow for the second part of Eric and Kelda's wedding ~ trust me, you won't want to miss it.
