Hello lovelies,

Care to join me in a happy dance?!!

I'm so excited to be a finalist in The Lab Event inspiration board competition. If you like what you see, please vote for my Marie Antoinette board and, with YOUR help, it could be turned into a styled inspiration shoot!

The Inspiration Behind The Board

I love that more and more brides are going all out on their wedding day with dramatic dresses, BIG hair, statement jewelry, opulent decor and decadent details that evoke a bygone era. After all, your wedding day is the one day in which you can be as OTT as you like!

The Style

My fascination with all things decadent started with this bride's unique style ~ that incredible dress, the layers of ruffly blue tulle, sparkly mary janes, bouffant hair, pure white lace cover up and voluminous veil all work perfectly together to create a ‘gasp worthy', dramatic bridal entrance.

Decor & Details

There's no need for a castle or a ballroom fit for a queen, carefully selected decor and details can set the tone just as well.

I adore the faded grandeur of this distressed wooden table, the powder blue chairs, pink rose centerpiece and grand chandelier. If you are more of an outdoorsy couple, suspended chandeliers look just as gorgeous hanging from trees too!

While these intricate chocolate masquerade mask lollipops from The Frosted Petticoat would make such fun favours ~ pink with a feather for the girls and blue for the boys!
