Amsale knows classy. The New York City bridal design house has long understood how to tailor for the clean-lined elegant bride, staying true to their iconic style but also embracing each season’s modern bride.

Today, in this styled shoot designed by Mandy Forlenza Sticos & photographed by Siobhan Stanton we see how diverse each modern bride can be. Whether you’re a princess bride – donning layers of fluffy ruffles – or a pantsuited gal rocking a badass jumpsuit, there are certain trends that bring any style to the fashion forefront.

From Amsale we see clean lines, flattering silhouettes, avant-garde textures & a minimalist approach making these two very different looks, both classy & cutting-edge.

Upon discovering the 130-year-old Apawamis Club, I set out to design a timeless wedding inspiration for a neutral loving bride-to-be. I teamed up with Siobhan Stanton who captures weddings with a timeless and clean aesthetic.

Vidhi Dittani Designs created a custom invitation with a hand-drawn building to replicate The Apawamis Club, turning the invitation suite into a work of art. Her mix of handmade paper and vellum made the paper goods old-worldly and modern all at once.

Our bride, Amerasia, got ready in the sweetest satin romper, robe and garter by The Giving Bride. Michelle from Je T’adore Beauty set soft curls while our bride re-read a letter she wrote to her groom. Amsale‘s Fall 2020 Bella ballgown in Fino Crème with endless layers of tulle, created a classic bridal silhouette. Hushed Commotion‘s accessories adorned the bride; including a mother of pearl laser cut modern tiara. Kate Whitcomb‘s “rose” heels added the perfect amount of dainty detail to the bride.

A few finishing touches for makeup by Je T’adore Beauty and the bride receives a delicate bouquet crafted by Vanilla by Sami. White velvet ribbon by Angela Frost Boutique was the perfect adornment to the neutral flowers. Amerasia takes a little twirl in the dress to calm nerves before putting on her veil with the slightest textured weave.

Before the celebration our bride stole a second to herself at the grand piano in the parlor. Guests cards were displayed along the piano on a vintage spun acrylic tray.

The light-colored ballroom at Apawamis is adorned with delicate chandeliers and overlooks a majestic golf course. With vaulted ceilings and architectural detailing, it is a picturesque locale for a timeless celebration. The sweetheart table boasted an abstract centerpiece surrounded by hand-poured candles by The Floral Society in vintage crystal holders from Little Vintage Rentals. Guests were once again greeted by the hand drawing of The Apawamis Club, this time on the menu.

The bride changed into a crepe tailored jumpsuit by Amsale to dance the night away and eat a slice of the four-layer vanilla bean cake by DiMare Pastry Shop.
