Pantone's 2020 Color of the Year could not be more wedding-ready. After all, if you incorporate anything ‘Classic Blue' into your wedding day fashion, florals or decor you can check that ‘Something Blue' item off your list!

Always intrigued by the meanings & psychology of colors, we went straight to Pantone to find out more about their choice:

“Instilling calm, confidence, and connection, this enduring blue hue highlights our desire for a dependable and stable foundation on which to build as we cross the threshold into a new era.” – Pantone

Uh, hello – could this not be more wedding appropriate? Building a foundation of marriage, check. A calming shade to ease the stress of wedding planning & wedding-day jitters? Check.

So, given that we are all about this new hue for 2020 weddings, we thought we'd team up with our friends at Be Inspired PR – who represent so many amazing wedding vendors & professionals – to share some gorgeous Classic Blue inspiration.

We're loving the splashes of Classic Blue watercolors, softening the hue a bit. And we think the shade is so stylish on grooms & groomsmen alike, don't you?

We LOVE blue wedding inspiration on Bridal Musings, we've been quite busy posting so many different shades of the calming color from this artsy blue-walled venue to the blue florals in this gorgeous Delphinium shoot. There's just too many to gab about so you can head straight to our Something Blue section for endless blue wedding inspiration.

If you really want to make a statement, why not choose ‘Something Blue' for your wedding dress? We've found some gorgeous blue gowns available on Etsy (and honestly, we'd wear them all!)
