Whether you’re ‘Going Virtual’ or already planning an indoor wedding this colorful inspiration from Cristy Angulo Photography is bound to inspire you to bring the garden inside!

Last week our dear Christina guided us through throwing the Ultimate Virtual Wedding – from dressing up to sending out cute virtual invites – and we’re sure brides & grooms are there are plenty thankful for her sweet encouragement! But in terms of decor, we wanted to grant you all some visual inspiration for decorating your own home: enter your indoor garden.

With a vibrant floral arch, classy bridal & groom’s attire & plenty of window light, we’re excited to see the colorful possibilities for an indoor wedding. Whether your guests are attending virtual or IRL (in real life) this space feels just as fancy & floral as any outdoor soiree.

From Cristy Angulo Photography

In the past 4-6 years, brides have preferred soft neutrals over the punchy, saturated hues that trended before. Now that neutrals and greenery have had their moment, brides and vendors alike are yearning for color again – this time, in perfectly executed tones. So we created a concept to showcase colorful, lively wedding inspiration for the modern discerning bride.

In North Texas, it’s often too hot (or stormy – hello tornado alley!) to get married outdoors, yet we crave the open air and natural light of an outdoor wedding. So, we sought out The Schoolhouse. Built in 1923, the Dallas Historic Landmark was once the school that Bonnie, of Bonnie and Clyde infamy, attended. Now, it’s a boutique wedding venue with tall ceilings, window light galore and tons of charm. Next, we created our indoor garden by lining the ceremony space with floral runners leading to an elaborate and lush floral arbor to serve as our showstopper piece.

We chose blue linens to complement the pink, orange, yellow and purple hues of the centerpieces and topped off the bridal look with an emerald statement ring to demonstrate that you don’t have to choose neutrals to be chic.
