I'm so excited to start the week off with this stylish New York wedding ~ I adore everything about it. It's a city chic dream.
Alejandro & Lauren's retro chic summer wedding is the perfect mix of classic style with modern touches. From Lauren's stunning coffee coloured Justin Alexander dress paired with pretty little BHLDN gloves and peep toe shoes to Alejando's dapper tux ~ he pulls off the cream dinner jacket effortlessly. (No easy feat.) This couple have some serious style. And don't even get me started on the exquisite bouquets and the bridesmaids bright, beautiful, mismatched dresses!

We met in 2004 at college in New York. Our first dates would be walks around downtown nyc on the promenade and over the Brooklyn Bridge. So when deciding on a venue we knew we wanted it to be where it all started. Everything we chose represented us and we couldn't be happier with how things turned out!
I would say our theme was ‘classic modern'. My dress was a tea length two-tone. My husband's tux was custom made. The jacket was an off-white dinner jacket look. The groomsmen all had matching tuxedos. For the bridesmaids it was a little different. I personally don't like the matching dress theme. Everyone is different- which is why my girls were in all different colors & styles. All of the colors were bright, fun, and perfect for an August summer day.
I left the flowers up to the florist. We had a meeting with them and looked at photos and said what we liked. I had no idea what the flowers were going to be of what they would look like until they arrived the morning of the wedding day. I knew that whatever my florist created would be beautiful.
