Our styled shoot was focused on creating an intimate space of connection between pure love and pure nature. A beautiful elopement in the heart of Transylvania!

For this, we choose a pristine location nestled in the Transylvanian mountains, quiet, green and with a gorgeous lake in the background. Lake Tarnita, Cluj! Then, we put together the perfect team of vendors whose talent and dedication transformed the venue into pure beauty. Ioana & Vasile Porav captured the story so sincerely and beautifully!

Elopements and small intimate weddings have their perks. We love them because they bring to light what we can never see at a classic wedding and the destinations are usually inaccessible to a large wedding with hundreds of guests. Our team – Destination Wedding Romania – is always ready with the best recommendations and planning!

There are so many countless small hidden gems waiting to be discovered and personalized for an elopement wedding in Romania and our team is ready to plan your dream elopement! Did you also know that Romania has the biggest wilderness habitat in Europe!?

For our shoot, the venue consisted in three small villas built at the foothills, each with perfect view and a total bedding capacity of 24 people. The villas are situated less than 1 hour away from Cluj Napoca International Airport.

From the villa, you can discover secret pathways leading to perfect spots for wedding portraits in the forest. The wooden deck on the lake is the main attraction and perfect for a wedding ceremony. We chose to frame it with green leaves instead of flowers, making it to blend perfectly with the surrounding scenery!
