I love Scotland.
Working it in just before the pandemic, my husband and I ended our yearlong honeymoon abroad with a few weeks in gorgeous Edinburgh. With daily walks up King Arthur’s Seat & weekend jaunts to the Scottish Highlands, I could imagine why any nature-loving bride or groom would quickly choose Scotland as their wedding destination.
Featuring the green, pastoral mountains of Scotland’s picturesque Highlands, this bridal inspiration by Alia Païenda has us daydreaming for the day we can return to this stunning region. Adding heirloom colors of roses & foliage to their floral scene and featuring a gown embellished with unique botanical lace, the entire inspiration speaks to the Highland’s stunning outdoors.
Speaking of gowns, our stunning Scottish bride wears none other than British designer E&W Couture – whose new collection was recently featured on Bridal Musings. While her 2021 collection may be more funky & cool, this gown displays E&W’s ability to create dresses that are truly one-of-a-kind, in this case for the whimsical, nature-loving bride.
And what’s a Scottish wedding without a kilt-wearing groom?
