Wishing to showcase & celebrate gender-fluid couples – who are so underrepresented in wedding imagery – planner & stylist My Pretties UK put together this modern editorial speaking to our favorite wedding planning motto at Bridal Musings, “Be yourself”.

Anytime any friend, family member, reader or follower asks our number one advice when planning your wedding it is absolutely always “Forget the noise, make your wedding exactly what you want.” That means wearing exactly what you want, embracing traditions you love, forgetting the ones that don’t speak to you and by all means don’t conform to any wedding planning & societal norms that don’t make you happy.

We’re thrilled to share this gender-fluid inspiration that features such beautiful gender-neutral fashion & beauty, proving to all that yes, you can have exactly the wedding you want.

From My Pretties UK

The concept was created by Jen, planner and stylist at My Pretties UK. Jen wanted to showcase diversity and how fluid gender can be beautifully and respectfully showcased with the wedding industry.

Our incredible fluid models were at the forefront of this whole design, giving it a fashion and editorial edge. The focus was on fluid fashion and style which was captured perfectly by our photographer Phoebe Jane Photography.

To really emphasize the fluid & neutral element of the shoot we choose a very neutral palette of white and cream tones throughout the styling and florals.

We have had a wonderful response to the images from the whole wedding industry and thankfully, the LGBTQ+ community.
