For brides & grooms that opt for a winter wedding, there’s plenty of reason to be filled with cheer.
One, we all know winter weddings offer much more budget ‘wiggle room’. With most couples opting for sunny summer weddings, venues & vendors tend to be much more affordable each winter season. In the same vein, you’ll your favorite vendors’ calendars much clearer, giving you the pick of the litter when it comes to photographers, florists, planners & the like.
Then, there’s the winter wonderland magic. Romantic flurries add sparkle to your wedding photos. Majestic evergreen trees add texture to the scene. Neutral florals look frosted in every frame. And it seems there has never been a time with more winter-ready wedding gowns on the market than now, with long sleeve wedding dresses dominated bridal runways.
Photographed by Amanda Crean and planned by Greenwood Events at the winter wonderland The Little Nell, this snowy bridal editorial shows exactly why we love winter weddings.
This romantic winter wonderland editorial is sure to make you swoon. The Little Nell was the perfect setting for this intimate wedding inspiration for those looking for a destination experience. With breathtaking mountain views and a chic ambiance, not much else was needed other than some lush florals and a cozy tablescape (plus a fun welcome gift from Bundles Gift Co.).
Stitch & Tie dressed our groom in a classic-made-modern suit with a black velvet jacket and bowtie, a fun twist for this wintery look. Bridal stylist Gabrielle Hurwitz helped our bride look stunning in her Monique Lhuillier gown with the prettiest leaf-life embellished overlay with long sleeves and accessories from Erin Rhyne. Beauty Concierge Elwynn + Cass and Gambuti Robson Hair And Makeup completed the look with that less is more, neutrally beautiful look. All captured beautifully by Amanda Crean and Robert Michael Films.
Greenwood Events nailed this vibe with an amazing ceremony arch that was equally as beautiful as the backdrop it framed and a reception area full of candlelight, wintery textiles and gold accented tableware. Megan Joy Cakes dreamt up a simple, yet stunning cake that mimicked the gold leaves seen on the china from The TOP Rentals. All this paired with timeless, minimalist paper goods from Pitbulls & Posies and the statement less is more certainly rings true.
