Hello again,
It's time to share competition winners Liz and Tom's gorgeous engagement shoot with you all. Their prize was a collaboration between some seriously talented UK wedding professionals: FO Photography, Lucky Sixpence Events & Co Co Violet Make Up.

Liz is a porcelain skinned, natural beauty who carried herself with such poise and grace throughout the shoot while Tom, looking very suave, was ever the gentleman patiently waiting for Liz during numerous outfit changes. They laughed and joked together and seemed so comfortable in each other's company despite all of us buzzing around!
Funmi and Adrian of FO photography did a fantastic job at capturing Liz and Tom's sweet natures and their love for each other.
There were two distinct themes for the shoot ~ the first was a natural, Autumnal walk in the park while the second was a more glamourous, post war vintage style in the quirky surroundings of The Britannia pub.

I asked Tom to share a little about how he proposed to Liz and here's what he said:
I proposed to Liz whilst we were walking around the gardens of Canterbury Cathedral on a lovely summers day in August. I took to a knee and proposed and thankfully she said yes!
He was so straight to the point it really made me smile! However, Liz did email a few hours later to say:
I would just like to add a note about Tom's proposal which made it extra special for me.
I was totally unaware of Tom's romantic proposal plan so was very suprised (and excited) when he got down on one knee. Whilst I didn't suspect a thing I later found out that my entire family were aware of the suprise as Tom had taken the traditional approach and asked my dad's permission. This detail, alongside the rest of Tom's thoughtful preparations, made the proposal so special and perfect.
Isn't that lovely? How could you leave that bit out Tom?!
Vintage Thrifty Post War Glamour
Here's what Liz and Tom had to say about the engagement shoot experience:
Tom: We both found the day suprisingly comfortable – our normal reaction would be dodge any cameras aiming our direction but the team made us feel relaxed and we felt fine just being ourselves and letting the pro's do their work.
Liz: The whole experience of the engagement shoot was really enjoyable from start to end. Everybody in the team worked so hard to ensure that we were happy and comfortable during the photography session and we are so pleased with the results. I particularly enjoyed the opportunity to have my make-up applied professionally and absolutely loved the beautiful dresses that were supplied for shoot. It was so great to be pampered and to take time away from our busy schedules, we are so grateful for everybody's efforts.
