Good Morning all,

I do hope you're having a lovely Thursday!

Tonight I'll be joining the UK wedding industry's finest at Browns Bride to celebrate the launch of the beautiful new online wedding magazine, Reverie. It'll be a chance to practice one of my new year's resolutions to ‘get out there and meet more people'. Wish me luck ~ I'm always so nervous and tongue tied at these events! I'll be sure to report back with all the juicy details.

In the meantime, you simply must get lost for a few, exquisite moments in Reverie which features some of my all time favourite wedding photographers from the UK & US, including, Elizabeth Messina. Amazing right?

Before I dive head first into this week's inspiration board, I'd like to say a big thank you to everyone who took the time to comment, tweet and share last week's chalkboard inspiration ~ you guys had me grinning from ear to ear all day long!

Now for today's pretty installment of inspiration in the form of classic black, candy pink and polka dots, with a bit of popcorn thrown in for good measure…

Bridal Style: Is the thought of a candy pink wedding dress too scary? How about opting for candy pink lips instead? They'd look fab teamed with a chic, black polka dot birdcage veil. (Pink hair optional.)

Decor: Black accents stop pink looking too girly ~ why not include black menus (perhaps chalkboard style) or monograms like the cute, modern monograms on the popcorn boxes above. If you'd rather not have to much black you could alternate black and white vases of pink flowers.

Cake: A simple, square tiered cake is transformed with the help of polka dot ribbon and a few pale pink roses.

Want to incorporate polka dots into other areas of your wedding?

This couple used black, felt polka dots throughout their ceremony and reception decor, for their alternative confetti and they even had escort polka dots! They have to be seen to be believed…

Their unique wedding was featured (fittingly) over on Polka Dot Bride.

To top off this pretty, candy pink inspiration feature, I just have to share the ultimate wedding transport ~ a pink cadillac!

So the big question is would you wear a pink wedding dress?!

(I know from this post that lots of you wouldn't wear black but maybe pink is more feasible?)

If pink is just too daring, I reckon yesterday's retro Wedding Dress of the Week would work so well with this fun, sweet wedding colour palette/theme!
