Fortune cookies make such a novel wedding favour. Cheap to make (or buy) and personalise with tiny print outs or handwritten ‘fortunes'. Your guests can't help but smile as they open their favours.

Fortune cookies are made from simple ingredients you probably have in your cupboards already. There are plenty of tutorials and recipes online, including a website dedicated to how to make fortune cookies ~ they even include a free PDF with a whole bunch of suitably vague but positive fortunes/sayings to print out such as:

To make her version of fortune cookies the only ingredients you need are eggs, flour, sugar and flavourings (vanilla extract and almond extract). That's it!
