Hello Lovelies!

I thought it'd be nice for newlyweds to be able to share their musings on what it means to them to be a wife (or civil partner) so may I present a brand spanking new feature:

Wifely Musings…because the wedding is only beginning!

I suggested swapping Wifely Musings with Lizzie (my fellow wedding blogger and all round lovely lady) and sharing each other's musings with our readers. Therefore supporting each other's blogs and sharing a new perspective on what it means to be a wife.

Thank you to Lizzie for featuring my ramblings on her gorgeous blog. You can read what I had to say here.

So, without further adieu, here are Lizzie's Wifely Musings:

Married life is…one of the best things ever! I love that I can call Chris my
husband and me his wife. Even though we don’t have kids (yet), he is my lovely
little family!

{Lizzie and her husband, Chris, on their wedding day}

Being a wife means…the world! There is nothing better then being in love,
spending time with my family, and, to be honest, I love the grown up feeling it
gives me!!

The honeymoon…is still waiting to happen :-( We never had one after the
wedding and always planned a big one for the future…its just those damn
planes!! (And my fear of them!)

The thing I miss most about planning our wedding is…the fun! I loved planning
my day and it was so nice to feel creative and build a day that I hope everyone
enjoyed!

The thing that I don't miss at all about planning our wedding is…the worry! I can’t
believe how many late nights I had worrying if the flowers would turn up, if my
dress fitting would go well! I’m such a natural worrier anyway, this made me
worse!

The first time Chris called me his wife was…as soon as we walked back
down the aisle, he said ‘you look beautiful wife’…he just wanted to say it! ;-)

The first time I said my married name to a stranger…was the morning after and
we checked out of the hotel! It felt amazing! x

When we're old and grey…I hope we still walk hand in hand and say ‘I Love You’
everyday!

My favourite dress designer is…hmm, this is hard for me! I think it would have
to be Claire Pettibone, I love the romance and the sexy yet demure feel of the
dresses!

If I could live anywhere in the world…It would be exactly where I am now! I live in
a tiny little village with two fields around me and its great! There is nothing better
then waking up to the sound of sheep bleating! (Although if I could move to one
of the Georgian houses in the village I would be ecstatic!)

How lovely is that?! Lizzie's countryside home sounds idyllic!

{I LOVE this photo…look how happy they are! It's beautiful}

How wonderful to feel so happy with where you are right now, at this moment, with the man that you love.

Thanks for sharing your thoughts Lizzie and for your continuous support for me and my blog…x

Readers, please do get in touch, if you'd like to share your wifely musings. As always, I'd LOVE to hear from you!
