This week's wedding dress of the week is this gorgeous creation from Justin Alexander entitled ‘8465'.
Really it should be called something like ‘Audrey'. It's a 50's inspired modern classic. An icon.
I first laid eyes on this tea length beauty a couple of years ago when I was planning my own wedding and 8465 made me question the whole demure, slim fitting vintage lace, cap sleeved bridal look I was going for.
I fell head over heels for it's retro fabulous charm and was even tempted to purchase it as a reception dress!
8465 comes in two colours, Natural/Coffee and Natural/Ivory. (Natural Coffee is shown below.)
Why I adore 8465 by Justin Alexander… it's retro, fun and flirty with some seriously intricate lace detailing on the bodice and a thick, silk sash to cinch in that waist. The resulting bow at the back is about as sweet as they come.
Perfect for… twirling in and showing off a pretty pair of shoes!
Team it with… lace gloves, a big, Bardot inspired bouffant hair do and a blusher veil.

And now for a real Bridal Musing's bride (from one of my favourite weddings from 2011). The beautiful Lauren knows how to work sweet vintage style to perfection. Let's take notes…
