Hello again friends,

I do hope you're having a good week. I hear it's been hotter in the UK these past few days than here in California. Go figure. But I'm not bitter, oh no because we're off to the sunny climes of Guatemala today for Part 2 of Kristiaan and Lionel's incredible wedding. Woo-hoo!

Part 1 was all about that dress, those shoes, one of the loveliest veils I've ever seen and the beautiful, moving moments captured by Davina + Daniel at their rustic, garden ceremony. Well if I was to sum up Part 2 in three words they'd be… location, location, location.

Expect to see exposed brickwork, crumbling ruins, magnificent scenery and lots of candlelight. The rustic decor creates a homely, natural feel in their dramatic reception space at San Jose El Viejo ~ feast your eyes on burlap, twine, stripy straws, hanging glass spheres and even a charming tree cake.

These National Geographic worthy images that make me long to jump on a plane and head South to Guatemala as soon as humanly possible!

Wow. I only wish I could have shared all 100+ photos with you…

From the bride: As photogaphers ourselves, one of our most frequently asked questions was, “Who is going to photograph your wedding?!” We found Davina + Daniel, and we are over the moon about our choice. Not only did they rock our portraits – extraordinary pieces of art! – but they also captured the most precious and outrageous moments in a way that brought us to tears and then had us laughing out loud. They managed to create the perfect blend of arty and meaningful imagery that takes us right back to our beautiful day and beyond.

Many congratulations to Lionel and Kristiaan of Eye Wonder Photography, wishing you all the happiness married life can bring.

Thanks also to the incredibly talented Davina and Daniel Wedding Photography, it's been an absolute pleasure and honour sharing your work.

So who's on the next flight to Guatemala with me?!
