Happy Friday!

A couple of week's ago we travelled back to 1950s, USA, for this Grease esque retro diner engagement shoot, today we're off to 1920s England for a stroll along the promenade. And I can't get enough of these soft, romantic photos by Sidney Diongzon and this seriously stylish couple. Fur coat, red lips and tortoise shell glasses.* Yes, yes and yes.

Here's Sidney with a little more about the shoot:

Matt + Ella are a beautiful couple. sweet, kind, fun…simply beautiful. It was a real pleasure shooting their engagement photos. In fact, I absolutely love these photos for many reasons. We shot these photos in Folkestone, England on the Leas which is a seaside promenade with tons of history. Everything there has a vintage 1920s look and I wanted to capture that era for their photos, hence Matt + Ella's look.

Totally and utterly gorgeous…

It's been such a pleasure sharing Sidney's photography and videography (he is a man of many talents) ~ did you see his truly Magical English Wedding Film? If not, you really should!

* This is a bit random but I used to have a pair of chic, tortoise shell glasses before I got laser eye surgery. I alternated wearing them with my contacts and always felt so intelligent and stylish when I had them perched on my nose. I miss them. It's just not quite the same with my tortoise shell sunnies (though I do love them).

Matt has inspired me to get some faux glasses, if only to attempt to take that creative shot through the lenses!
