This beautiful barn wedding in Northern Ireland just goes to show that rain on your wedding day doesn't have to dampen spirits!

There was thunder, lightning, torrential downpours and even hailstones on the day of Esther and Tim's wedding…I’m sure it wasn’t exactly what they had imagined when they booked a lovely outdoor venue in June, but through it all, they never stopped smiling. Their happiness and love for each other was so clear for everyone to see.
Esther and Tim's wedding was a relaxed, rustic affair – all mismatched vases of wildflowers, bunting, board games and chalkboard signs. Esther made such a graceful bride with her braided up do, porcelain skin and secret smile, while the bridesmaids looked oh so elegant in floor length navy chiffon.
And you've gotta love a beaming groom and adorable page boy in matching kilts!
From Esther, the bride:
I had always dreamt of having a rustic wedding with lots of fresh, colourful flowers, and when we found Riverdale barn we knew it was simply perfect for what we had in mind. We wanted the day to be relaxed and full of fun for the guests, so we had activities such as a treasure hunt and giant Jenga.
We only had four and a half months to plan the wedding so thankfully friends and family pitched in and were such a great help in lending and sourcing us things to decorate the barns with.
The Photography
When we saw Lauren's blog we were blown away by her amazing photos and her ability to capture the little details and special moments. It was lovely not having to worry about the outcome of the photos and just knowing that she would do an absolutely fantastic job.
Treasured Memories and Advice For Other Couples
I enjoyed the whole day but my favourite part and most treasured memory is of the wedding service. There were tears and laughter aand it was so special to be joined together as man and wife in front of God, and for everyone to be there supporting that fact.
My advice would be try to make sure you remember to eat all the nie things people have organised. It's easy to forget when you are so busy talking to people!
