I love the thought of an intimate, laid back, glamping bachelorette party with a focus on good food (fluffy, delicately flavoured marshmallows), good drinks (local beer), good company (your best girls) and rustic, outdoorsy fun!
Throw in a retro camper van, cozy rugs and cushions, two cute little pugs and a bunch of floral crowns all captured beautifully by Zipporah Photography and I'm one very happy camper indeed.

The inspiration for this styled shoot was the idea that not all bachelorette parties have to involve a wild night at the bar. Instead, I envisioned a cozy get-together for our bride Jessica and her two bridesmaids. The baby blue retro Shasta camper was the perfect backdrop for a laid back ladies night that focused on the outdoors, lots of fun vintage details and what bachelorette parties are really about—bonding with your best friends.
We set the tone for the party with a cute camper invite that tipped off the ladies to the adventure ahead. Layers of boho-inspired textiles, including an antique kilim rug and lots of vintage camp blankets, set the relaxed mood of the evening. Instead of s’mores, we opted for a gourmet marshmallow bar, which featured the prettiest handmade, all-natural marshmallows from Kerfluffles Marshmallows. (The iced tea flavor was a favorite!)
A selection of retro sodas and some local brew from Jackalope Brewing got the party started—as did Jessica’s two pugs, Doug and Scout. How cute are the pups in their vintage scarves?! Pots of succulents, simple arrangements of yellow Queen Anne’s Lace and Billy Balls and a bouquet of wheat created a vibe that you wouldn’t find at your average campout. We loved that the ladies arrived dressed in a mix of comfy button-ups and utility vests paired with heels and floral crowns. (Jessica has a killer fashion blog.) They fit right into our vision for this rustic chic party!
