Today it's my privilege and pleasure to feature a group of insanely talented people who are pushing the boundaries of wedding storytelling.
(I'm including the photographer/film-maker/graphic designer/DIY bride and groom in that sentence too!)
Being creatives themselves, Melissa and Jan's wedding photos and film were a top priority for them.
This is how Australian photographer Jonas Peterson and American film-maker Tim of Velare Imaginarium found themselves miles from home, in the tiny village of Redu, Belgium, to bear witness to and document Melissa and Jan's beautiful nuptials.

Velare Imaginarium‘s exquisite films blow my mind every time.
Remember this unique wedding film in reverse? That was Tim working his magic.
I remember thinking back then it'd be a hard task for anyone to set the wedding film bar higher but, of course, Tim does, each time he works with another couple to create a wedding film unique to them.
And it doesn't get much more unique than footage of the newlyweds running through the woods in the darkness, illuminated by sparkers, spotlights and even flares!
This mesmerising wedding film is full of heart, soul and beauty. It made the hairs on the back of my neck stand on end.
