Remember I shared Sophie and Ivar's intimate, bohemian wedding last week?

Oh if you missed it, it was truly stunning – a colourful, 70s inspired celebration surrounded by their nearest and dearest in a meadow! And photographed by the uber talented Melissa Milis Photography  (and bride of this unique woodland wedding) no less.

Well, it just so happened that I was on a red eye flight from Calgary to London on Saturday (after almost eight months of travelling and a week of freezing my butt off, skiing, tobogganing, ice skating at -35 degrees and loving every moment in the winter wonderland that is Banff National Park, Canada). I was supposed to head onto Amsterdam with Zee on yet another plane but, after a long, sleepless flight with a full blown cold, the temptation to crawl into my old bed at my mum's house and be fed soup was too much. So I found myself bundled into a taxi kissing Zee goodbye for a couple of weeks and heading back to the exotic climes and glamour of Ilford.

Anyhoo, throughout all this I was supposed to have prepared a post featuring Sophie and Ivar's gorgeous film but it completely slipped my mind and instead I slept for 16 hours straight! Yes, living a nomadic lifestyle is incredible but rather tiring too.

So here I am, finally sharing their beautiful wedding film by Anoushka Verspay…and friends, trust me when I tell you it was well worth the wait.

Their's was such a beautiful, heart felt celebration – despite the language barrier the love is so evident in every frame!

ps. Isn't the European tradition of the groom delivering the bride's bouquet to her on the morning of the wedding so sweet?!
