There is SO much to love about Ashley and Louis' blush pink and mint rustic DIY wedding.

First up we have a beautiful bride in a lace wedding dress with classic red lips, glossy bangs and a side swept hairstyle.

(Yes, those are all links to posts I've featured before and yes, I'm totally crushing on Ashley's bridal style.)

A handsome groom in a three piece grey suit paired with a preppy mint bow tie, bridesmaids in floral crowns and a peony and rose bouquet in the palest, prettiest shades of pink.

A vintage bicycle with a basketful of florals, reclaimed window panes as decor, a sweetheart table just for two, a scrumptious looking buttercream cake with darling cake topper plus a whole lot of rustic burlap details, doilies, pom poms and fairy lights.

Plus I get to introduce you all to Beca Companioni Photography, whose photos are beyond beautiful and brimming with emotion.

In fact, the emotion and meaningful moments are what I love most about their day.

Favourite Moment

One of my favorite moments was praying with my groom before we were married. He was blindfolded and I had my eyes closed but our hearts were united as one in our cry to the Lord. The day became an act of worship, rather than just being a “special day”. It was the day the Lord had made and we were filled with gladness and joy. Everyone that mattered was there.

6 Weeks To Plan

Louis and I planned our wedding in 6 weeks. We knew we wanted it to be filled with DIY details that would make the celebration fit our personalities. We decorated the venue, had gourmet coffee from Puerto Rico as favors, planned to marry in front of a cross I painted, and write our own vows.  The ceremony was both in English and Spanish, as a symbol of two cultures & languages coming together as a family. I could not have asked for a more beautiful day.

Their Love Story

We met our freshman year of college. He saw me the first day of school and knew I would one day be his wife. One of my best friends introduced me to him and I knew I wanted to be a friend of his. I never would've imagined it would be for a lifetime. We started dating a year and a half after meeting each other and were engaged 2 years after that. At the time, we were doing long distance. So, he flew in as a surprise and proposed. The ring belonged to his great grandmother and it was a perfect fit for me. God definitely wrote my love story with this amazing man!

Such a gorgeous couple and wedding!

I think Ashley and Louis deserve a round of applause for pulling it all together in just six weeks, don't you?!

Wishing Ashley and Louis all the best for married life, thank you for sharing your wonderful wedding with us and thanks also to Beca Companioni Photography for the photo goodness.
